St. Joseph Hospital Chapel

Project Description

The facade of this hospital chapel is made of high-performance, double-glazed channel glass, allowing for maximum natural daylight. The tempered and heat-soak-tested glass channels are oriented horizontally, set in floor-to-ceiling walls using Bendheim’s thermally-broken double-glazed SF-60 frame system with a custom finish. Located on four openings is our light-diffusing, anti-glare 504 Rough Cast channel glass. See-through Clarissimo channel glass is located on six other openings, providing views in and out of the chapel. All of the channels feature a Low-e thermal performance coating, enhancing the thermal properties of the glass walls.
