Project Description
The Heimbold Visual Arts Center, designed by Polshek Partnership Architects, is prominently situated on the Bronxville, NY campus of the prestigious liberal arts college. Selected as the area’s “Best New Building” by Hudson Valley magazine, the Heimbold Center provides a grand view from the President’s House. The high-profile project is the first application of our U-profile channel glass in a LEED-certified structure. The channel glass eliminates the need for most vertical and intermediate horizontal framing members. The translucent, structural glazing system provides daylight, superior function, and aesthetics. It features our light-diffusing 405 Rough Cast textured channel glass with a Low-E thermal performance coating.
