“We wanted to provide as much natural light as possible to the production building to minimize the use of artificial light during working hours. Bendheim’s channel glass gave us the flexibility of achieving this by allowing us to have big clear spans without intermediate frames or supports. Low iron channel glass gave us the perfect neutral tone that tied the natural earthly colors of the building… It also provided us with a great insulation value, especially on the south elevation, where the wine tanks are exposed to the sunlight. On the hospitality building, it gave us the effect that we were looking for, a continuous floating roof, thanks to the frameless vertical assembly.”
