Grace A. Dow Memorial Library

Project Description

Ice textured channel glass, mounted in our SF60S single-glazed framing system, forms the distinctive teal fascia on this renovated library. Part of the library’s $440,000 exterior facelift, the channel glass helps recreate architect Alden B. Dow’s original design. The gleaming, glacier-like glass channels replace outdated, non-original red panels along the building’s perimeter. The translucent glass is set over large panels of blue-green aluminum, creating a lustrous facade and giving the glass it’s vivid teal tint.
