Jersey City Medical Center

Project Description

A recent addition at the Jersey City Medical Center houses a new emergency care unit. Bendheim’s channel glass encases the second floor of the wing, comprising of low iron 504 Rough Cast™ textured channels with regular clear Houdini™ textured channels interspersed to create a visual pattern in the glass. The double-glazed glass features a thermal insulating material, which enhances thermal performance while still allowing for abundant light to fill the interior.

Additionally, digitally printed marker boards were produced for patient areas throughout the facility. The boards provide both patients and medical staff with information regarding the patient’s visit.
