Project Description
Expansive walls made of double-glazed, 504 Rough Cast channel glass are a prominent design element of this border crossing station. The textured glass surface, along with the thermal insulating material, allow the glass channels to diffuse light to the interiors by day and glow like a lantern from the interior light by night. The project is certified LEED Silver. Set in our SF-60 framing system, the double-glazed channel glass walls can be found in three rough openings and ten stacked openings in this sustainably-built wellness center. The glass utilizes Low-E thermal coating along with thermal insulation inserts.
