Aspen City Hall

Project Description

Bendheim’s channel glass is a key design element at the newly constructed Aspen City Hall. The south entrance of the building features a curved channel glass wall that fills the central staircase with daylight. The glass channels range from 17′ to 18′ in height to accommodate the sloped roof condition above. At the north entrance, the channel glass transitions from an exterior column cover at the ground level to conference room windows at the second level, then to an upper deck parapet wall.ย  This was achieved with strategic placement of stack joints.
