Ceramic Fritted Glass

Produced by permanently fusing ceramic frit to the glass surface, fritted glass is available in custom graphics and designs in hundreds of opaque & translucent hues.

Key Benefits

Pulverized, powdered glass colors – known as frits – are applied to the glass surface to create the desired designs. The “fritted” glass is then run through a tempering oven and brought to high temperature, melting and permanently fusing the frit into the glass surface. The result is a permanent, fade-resistant print that is exceptionally durable against the elements. Ceramic fritted glass is suited for exterior glass applications, such as rainscreens and ventilated facades.
