Etched Glass Featuring Italian Double-Sided Satin Fibers Adds Subtle Luxury to Bathroom Makeover

The DIY Network’s popular show “BATHtastic!” selected Bendheim Cabinet Glass for a major part in the transformation of a home’s outdated bathroom. The episode is titled “Cheap to Chic.”
“BATHtastic!” selects the latest new materials, offers expert design tips and brings do-it-yourself know-how to revitalize any type of bathroom, great or small. In this episode, the show’s host Matt Muenster installs Bendheim Italian etched cabinet glass inserts, featuring a dimensional, double-sided satin fibers pattern, into the bathroom vanity cabinets. The glass brings subtle luxury, visually expands the space, and provides privacy.
Both surfaces of the ultra-brilliant (low-iron), tempered safety glass are acid-etched to produce a satin-like, ultra-smooth surface highly resistant to dirt and stains. Unlike sandblasted and coated glass, the surface of the acid-etched glass is permanent, extremely consistent and maintenance friendly.
Bendheim’s Cabinet Glass enhances the sleek vanity and complements a new crystal-encrusted ceramic backsplash, a pair of sinks with ultra-modern minimalist faucets, and updated lighting. Matching overhead cabinets and custom, built-in Bendheim glass shelves maximize storage. A high-contrast color scheme ties the design together and brings visual impact to the overall remodel at a total cost of $15,000.
