Project Description
Double-glazed, 504 Rough Cast channel glass creates upper-level openings of this library. The glass utilizes Okapane thermal insulating material to improve the thermal performance of the glass. Set in the SF-60 frame system, the textured glass surface, in conjunction with the insulating material, help diffuse light throughout the interior spaces by day, and act as a glowing beacon at night. The channel glass walls played a part in the project earning a LEED Silver certification.
