Willis Tower

Project Description

Several architectural glass products from Bendheim, including Gothic™ and Houdini™ glass, blend transparency and privacy in a major renovation at one of the world’s most iconic structures, the Willis Tower in Chicago, previously known as the Sears Tower. Partition walls comprised of textured Gothic EcoGlass™ in the lobby, provide transparency while also offering obscurity. Linear-textured Houdini privacy glass in the security area helps conceal safety equipment. A custom double-sided bronze etch mirror brings a sense of hospitality and warmth to the lobby. Additionally, white laminated glass stair risers highlight the main building entrance. The glass is back-lit, emitting a soft glow.
