Project Description
The renovation of Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour in Miami includes a range of Fade® gradient glass varieties. The architects collaborated closely with our design consultants and sample department to achieve the precise color transitions required. The subtle variations in color and translucency are used to define distinct areas throughout the store. Spanning three floors, vibrant pink-blue-purple gradient color panels create a prismatic aesthetic. They serve as both product backdrops and escalator surrounds. The design objective was to create a “morning sky” appearance on the ground level, an “afternoon sky” on the second and, finally, an “evening sky” on the third level. Our custom blush Fade mirror brightens the cosmetics department on the ground floor.
Bendheim’s colored laminated glass is fade-resistant and easy to maintain. It offers enhanced acoustic performance, with 4+ points improvement to the STC. It meets building safety codes, and can be specified for partitions, stair railings, balustrades, or any area requiring added safety, security, and durability. We offer advanced custom color capabilities in opaque, translucent, and transparent decorative laminated glass. Additional customization options include various surface alternatives, including textured, fully etched, lightly etched, or etched patterns.
