155 North Wacker

Project Description

The lobby of the 155 North Wacker building in Chicago greets visitors with Bendheim’s custom low-iron laminated etched mirror. The building logo is embedded into the decorative mirror cladding, creating a sophisticated three-dimensional effect. As the visitor’s position relative to the glass changes, so does the appearance of the logo. It is more pronounced when viewed at an angle, softly “disappearing” when observed straight-on. The unique effect creates a dynamic sense of depth. The luminous quality of the glass helps disperse the overhead LED lighting throughout the space. The fine satin-smooth glass resists fingerprints and staining, ideal for this high-traffic area.
