"Clarissimo™" channel glass features a very subtle surface texture, offering a high level of transparency
Benefits / Characteristics:
- Our “vision” channel glass, offering the highest level of transparency achievable through this material
- Features a very subtle surface roughness
- U-shape (channel shape) enhances the structural properties of the glass, allowing it to achieve far greater spans than regular flat glass
- Up to 23’ tall, hundreds of feet wide
- Sustainably produced in an oxygen-assisted furnace, low carbon footprint – Download EPD
- Can create curved all-glass walls and glass-to-glass corners, no interim metal supports required
- Lightweight
- Ideal for daylighting applications
- Available in superior, ultra-low-iron glass, which is near-colorless and brilliant
- Available in regular-iron glass, which has the characteristic greenish-blue tint visible through the edges of the glass; contains 30% – 40% post-consumer recycled content
- Available with Low-E and Azur™ thermal performance coatings (regular, non-low-iron channel glass; special production)
- Fully tempered (safety) and heat soak tested for exterior applications, offering improved resistance to high wind loads and temperature fluctuations
- Can be provided with a color frit or translucent white insulation inserts for bird-friendly applications
