Project Description
The monumental window of the Eldridge Street Synagogue, a national landmark building, is the first of its kind to be created in the U.S. using the European glass silicone lamination process. The technique does away with the traditional lead line. This highly successful window is made of Bendheim’s Lamberts mouth-blown glass.
Artist: Kiki Smith and Deborah Gans
Fabricator: The Gil Studio, Inc.
