Evangelical Church

Project Description

The yellow to blue cast of the midday sun in the south windows. In the west window, the red to blue of the deepening evening. The Swiss artist, Romi Fischer, has a gift for designing inspiring spaces. The windows in this Evangelical church in Duisburg-Meiderich, Germany achieve their gentle character through combinations of three to four layers of mouth-blown Lamberts glass. Each 2’x 3’ sheet of glass is hand made by the skilled glass blowers of Glashütte Lamberts in Germany.
