The Metropolitan Opera | Keebler J. Straz Lounge

The Metropolitan Opera partnered with ELLE DECOR to redesign the Eleanor Belmont Room. ELLE DECOR selected Gachot, led by founders Christine and John Gachot with their eye for marrying the historic with the contemporary. The new lounge, now known as the Keebler J. Straz Lounge, welcomes patrons with warm and sophisticated interior features, elegant furniture and refined surfaces.

Bendheim’s bronze mirrored glass behind the bar creates a striking backdrop to the original vintage gold Rolex clock. Additionally, the bronze mirror clads the wall space between the windows, adding a subtle splash of color between the illuminated curtains.
