Project Description

Twenty teams of college students were challenged to build the most technologically savvy solar-powered house at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon in Washington, D.C. Bendheim supported the efforts of Team California, a team of 100 undergraduates from Santa Clara University and California College of Arts, by providing back-painted glass for the team’s Refract House, creating functional and aesthetic kitchen and bathroom backsplashes.
