Project Description
The exterior of a multi-purpose parking garage in the heart of Markham is clad in a channel glass ventilated facade by Bendheim. Just outside of Toronto, the structure offers parking for a hotel, apartment complex, and shopping plaza. For such a high traffic parking structure, the Bendheim ventilated facade offers a variety of benefits for its occupants. The glass channels allow the garage to fill with natural daylight for maximum visibility, while their privacy-friendly texture obscures outside-in views from the street. The spacing between the channels not only provides a clean, modern aesthetic, but also allows for natural ventilation through the structure.
