Project Description
Once a Pabst and Pendergast bottling plant and warehouse, the new Crossroad Hotel’s “post-industrial chic” design is a product of the collaboration between Simeone Deary Design Group and El Dorado architects. Installed in custom blackened steel barn doors, Bendheim’s low-iron Houdini™ glass veils bathroom views. It offers complete visual privacy between the bathroom and the hotel room, while maintaining a sense of openness and spaciousness. The timeless micro-fluted linear glass design, in combination with the darkened divided-lite frames, lends a chic vintage vibe – a nod to the building’s industrial past.
Bendheim’s Houdini glass is an award-winning privacy glass. Its unique surface texture refracts light in way that completely obscures any vertical features behind the glass, as well as moving people and objects. It provides an astonishing level of privacy, while transmitting maximum daylight.
Bendheim offers a wide selection of in-stock textured glass designs, available in regular or low-iron (ultra-clear) glass, to deliver the desired balance of visual privacy and daylight. Textured glass is also one of the most cost-effective decorative glass solutions to divide the space, while enhancing its usability and aesthetic.
