Bendheim Introduces Architectural Glass in Sought-After Off-White Color Palette
In the spirit of the recently-announced slate of tinted whites as “color of the year” for 2016, we have introduced a new collection of delicate off-white back-painted architectural glass. Applications include floor-to-ceiling wall cladding, grout-free backsplashes, counter- and table-tops.
“As an interior design element, the beauty of color coated glass makes an elegant, sophisticated statement”
Our back-painted glass is produced in an almost infinite range of precision-matched hues. A combination of proprietary color formulations and processes achieves the fine tonal shifts necessary for color matching – especially for this refined new collection of white and off-white shades. These versatile colors – and many more – can be applied to Bendheim glass to complement, contrast, or match any design palette. Our proprietary manufacturing process bakes the color coatings onto the glass, resulting in an exceptionally durable product. The environmentally friendly painting process creates a 100% VOC-free product.
“As an interior design element, the beauty of color coated glass makes an elegant, sophisticated statement. The thickness of the glass adds a sense of depth, and the polished surfaces play with light and reflection,” says Donald Jayson, Co-owner and Senior Vice President of Bendheim.
Bendheim’s exclusive color coatings are UV-resistant and stable – formulated and applied to last for many years – while the naturally hygienic, non-porous glass surfaces are exceptionally maintenance-friendly. Back-painted glass can be tempered or laminated for additional safety. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 1/4 to 3/4 inches, and in sizes up to 60 by 120 inches.
