Two high-profile architectural installations featuring Bendheim Wall Systems Lamberts channel glass receive prestigious AIA National Honor awards.
Bendheim Wall Systems worked closely with architectural design teams to provide Lamberts channel glass, the key exterior design element, for two AIA 2008 National Honor Award winning projects – the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Bloch Building in Kansas City, Missouri and the Shaw Center for the Arts in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The AIA National Honor Award is the profession’s highest recognition of works exemplifying excellence in architecture, interior architecture, and urban design.
- Steven Holl and Justin Rüssli’s New Residence at the Swiss Embassy – 2007 Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) International Award.
- Polshek Partnership’s Sarah Lawrence College Heimbold Visual Arts Center – 2005 AIA/Committee on the Environment (COTE) Green Project of the Year.
