Bendheim Taps Into Modern Kitchen Trends With New Cabinet Glass Selections

New additions to the Bendheim Cabinet Glass line

We are pleased to announce 25 new specialty glass additions to our Cabinet Glass line, now available direct to consumers. These 25 decorative glass inserts were previously sold exclusively to the trade. Cabinet glass inserts, in solid colors, acid-etched opacities, and designer textiles, bring a refreshing openness to a kitchen; accentuating its style, while obscuring cabinet contents and enhancing the cabinet’s usefulness.

As the spot where friends gather to laugh over a few drinks and parents connect with children to discuss their day, the kitchen is more than just a room in the house. It is the heart of the home, where food and sharing brings everyone together.

Kitchens have come to reflect their families who imbue them with their life and rhythm. Some are rustic and country, full of hot biscuits overflowing with honey, others are buttoned-up and prim, more tea and crackers, while others are luxurious and sophisticated, redolent of rich wine and soft cheeses. Each of those kitchens has a different look and feel. With Bendheim’s expanded selection of over 150 cabinet glass varieties, incorporating fine glass inserts into kitchen doors and cabinets can make a calibrated design statement to express the homeowner’s style. The glass can transform the entire space, bringing a sense of light and spaciousness.

Our 25 new cabinet glass varieties incorporate four distinctive collections, including:

1. VintageWire™ glass
2. Designer Series glass
3. Etched glass
4. White glass

The VintageWire™ glass is available in two varieties: authentic wavy chicken wire, with real chicken wire laminated within the glass, and the retro True Wired glass that brings ”old-school cool”—hearkening back to beloved, ubiquitous elementary school windows.

Champagne Glitterati™ cabinet glass

The Designer Series features rich textiles embedded in safety laminated glass that livens up kitchen cabinets, making them a conversation piece. Champagne Glitterati attracts attention with its glints and sparkles, veiling the contents of a cabinet while adding an almost tactile appearance. A more open pattern is displayed in the White Muslin glass, with soft threads of fabric laminated into the glass.

In addition to textiles and wire, Bendheim offers acid-etched glass, in various opacities, colors, and patterns. The newest is the Limited Edition Vintage Dot, a timeless acid-etched design graced with delicate polka dots. The strong, variegated lines of the Italian Satin Barcode bring an art-deco feel, with mid-century modern undertones. For those more contemporary kitchen cabinets, Italian Satin Gossamer evokes tall birch groves, lending a natural touch while remaining undeniably 21st-century.

To round out the new glass collection, Bendheim introduces five new white and off-white cabinet glass varieties. These vary in opacity from the gentle fog of the Feather White, through Opal White and up to completely Opaque White. Also included are Dense White and the shimmering, textured winter white of the Pure Glacial Ice Opal. These last two are best suited to hide clutter and views.
