Building a Clear Future

Commitments to Social Justice & Equity

Bendheim is proud to be the first and only glass manufacturer globally to publish a JUST Label. This achievement reflects the company’s strong commitment to creating a healthy and supportive workplace that prioritizes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of its employees, while also strengthening its connection to the communities it serves. By investing in workplace well-being programs, the company boosts employee health, morale, and productivity, and improves its ability to attract and retain top talent. These efforts also help foster a positive company culture and reinforce Bendheim’s dedication to diversity and inclusion at all levels.

In addition to its workplace benefits, the JUST Label can contribute up to 1 point under LEED v4/v4. It also supports compliance with other sustainability certifications, including WELL and the Living Building Challenge (LBC).

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program

As part of its broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Bendheim focuses on four key pillars: Food, Clothing, Shelter, and the Environment. Through volunteer activities such as food and clothing drives, the company actively supports the well-being of the communities it serves. These initiatives reflect Bendheim’s deep commitment to making a positive, lasting impact both within the organization and in the world around us. By addressing these essential needs, the company aims to inspire others and help create meaningful change for those most in need.

In line with its commitment to community support, Bendheim has provided significant funding to the Paterson Neighborhood Revitalization Project, led by Passaic County Habitat for Humanity. This contribution was made through New Jersey’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit program and supports vital work in Paterson’s Rosa Parks neighborhood-helping to strengthen and uplift the local community.
